⬐ DoxinRelated question: why can't I buy a mouse where the middle mouse button doesn't quit working within a year? I mean I get that using blender means I use that button more than the average person, but sheesh.Best solution I've found so far is the Trust primo which is a fine mouse, and still cheap enough to get a new one every year or so. I do hate how much waste that produces though.
Shame how they don't make those in neon pink anymore though.
⬐ CrazedGeekI use the Logitech G600, which has some drawbacks (seemingly no driver support on macOS/Apple Silicon being the big one), but is ridiculously comfortable in my hand, more than precise enough, and looks professional enough (if you turn the LEDs off). It is an MMO mouse with macro buttons on the side, but I honestly don’t even use them and still love the mouse. I keep a small stash of them for when Logitech inevitably and finally discontinues it.⬐ hansthehorse⬐ teleforceAmazon has it for 35 US dollars right now. Normally 80.All my mouses are wired and they are of the laser type mouse. Apparently laser type mouse is hard to find now even in tech mecca Akihabara and most mouses being sold now are wireless Bluetooth ¯\_(ツ)_/¯⬐ raszMX master 3 tip - You can AU/CU plate knurled metal wheels if you have problems with metal. You could also lathe knurls away and get custom rubber surface.⬐ entropicgravityLogitech MX Ergo works for me.⬐ MerelyMortal9:48 video... no thanks. I did watch the first thirty seconds and then skipped through to most of it, and there is a lot of filler to get it near the magical 10 minute video length that YouTubers want.If someone writes a serious blog post about mice, then maybe I'll read that.
As for now, a mouse suggestion: Logitech M350 (a nice compact , and more importantly... a silent mouse that I have in my laptop bag)
⬐ FloWzoWYour Logitech M350 is an ergonomic nightmare. The video is really nice and every minute is worth it
⬐ MisterSandmanBy what standard is it an ergonomic nightmare?⬐ MerelyMortalIt's interesting because I don't touch (not "grip", not "hold") the M350 like I do other mice. Unfortunately I don't have it with me at the moment to try to better describe it. But I have averagely hands for an adult male (large), and I don't have any issues using it, albeit I don't use it that often.
