Emergency braking in space
The phrase "raspberry jam delta-v" comes to mind. Also, the obligatory clip from Spaceballs...
⬐ xeromalThis specific moment where he still makes the noise after having the microphone smacked from him makes me laugh the same as it did when I was a tiny kid.⬐ EddieDanteMichael Winslow is one of the greats.⬐ timbit42He was on AGT a few years ago.

Tesla Model S Plaid, 0-60 in under 2 seconds
It's still kinda unbelievable that the largest and most valued electric car maker in the world is naming their cars from scenes that elon thought was funny.[0] What a time to be alive.
⬐ mywittynamePop culture sells. I like it specifically because no marketing department would ever okay something like this.⬐ DuskStarDon't forget choosing model names to be S3XY... (Apparently Ford owns the rights to "Model E")⬐ mhh__That's because Tesla are massively overvalued relative to what they will most likely achieve. Tesla are not the largest car manufacturer at all - Tesla's market cap is hugely bigger than ford's, but ford's yearly revenue is only a bit smaller than Tesla's market cap⬐ zalkotaThe market knows better than you. They aren’t a car company, just like Apple isn’t a phone company.⬐ rsynnott⬐ mlindnerYes, that's why Pets.com is such a powerhouse.⬐ mhh__Apple makes fucktons of money though. Tesla's PE is 1039 as of today, Apple's is 34.⬐ catsdanxeTesla has thousands of vehicles out on the road collecting data to train it's self driving features. Nobody else has this.Companies are valued based on what people think they will do in the future. And many people think Tesla will cause a revolution in the car industry developing the technology to eliminate combustion engine vehicles from the roads. As they mentioned today, if they achieve what they're aiming for in the next ~3 years, electric vehicles will be cheaper in total cost of ownership than combustion engine vehicles.
