We think we are pretty close to having our Xerox Alto boot. At the last session, the Logic Analyzer trace of the microcode boot process looked OK. However we determined that our disc had been erased with random data, many years ago probably, by a test program. The great folks at the Living Computer Museum came to our rescue and just sent us a boot disc platter with diagnostic programs on it. We are eager to test it and see if the Alto boots.
