I understand the author must be the "Ted Nelson" (https://www.youtube.com/user/TheTedNelson). He has always been such a visionary. Such an immensely articulate person. His youtube channel is full of gems; his Computer for Cynics' series is great. His chapter on How Bitcoin Actually works (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CMucDjJQ4E) is a "must see" for journalists and people that come from non technological domains - still current and at the same time visionary for a video recorded in 2014 about Bitcoin.

⬐ ggrrhh_taThe video, although 6 years old has not lost any relevance and provides the relevant information to communicate about bitcoin for non-CS people, but it also is useful for CS people, and has lots of forward-looking commentary (in 2014) that will amuse everyone.

Is the seventh in the series: https://youtu.be/3CMucDjJQ4E published on Sep 2014, six years ago, and a must-watch account for any outsider even in 2020. Enjoy it!
⬐ angleofreposeAh I didn't even realize the list I sent wasn't from his account. Thanks for the correction!⬐ ggrrhh_taThat 2014 video is so revealing... I think it deserves a post of its own :-)

Bitcoin From Scratch – Part 1
For people that need or want to know (really understand) in depth about Bitcoin without any previous background in Computer Science (for example, in Finance, investors, journalists, historians, curious people in general) I have to recommend Ted Nelson's "How Bitcoin actually works" (2014) from his series "Computers for Cynics" [0]. I enjoyed it. (+)[0] https://youtu.be/3CMucDjJQ4E
(+) For the people with background in CS: it might be that the video at some point talks about the number of zeros instead of the comparison, but really, it does not detract a 'bit' from its value.
